The Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art is a must-see when you stay at Herzliya Marina Lagoon Apartment. It’s less than 15 minutes by car and it is worth a couple of hours of your time every time you visit Herzliya, as it hosts seasonal exhibitions featuring contemporary Israeli and international talent.
The museum has a small permanent collection – about 1000 works, including 200 sculptures. Its calendar of events is rich and creative, featuring exhibitions, but also lectures, workshops, family activities, and programmes for children as part of the museum’s MUZA initiative of visual experiences through video art and photography.
At the entrance of the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, you can admire a sculpture titled Blocked Well with Iron Casing and Turret by Yaakov Dorchin.
